DTG Printing

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing applies ink directly to the fabric, creating detailed, full-color prints with a soft feel. It is especially well suited to cotton and cotton-rich garments.

Things to consider

Fabric matters: polyester and performance garments often suit DTF better.

DTG vs. DTF

Both methods produce full-color prints and work for one-offs or larger orders. The main difference is how the print sits on the garment: DTG prints directly onto the fabric for a softer finish, while DTF uses a heat-applied transfer for a bold, opaque print with a more noticeable surface feel. Choose based on the fabric and finish you want—not the number of colors or shirts.
